About the speakers
Hayley Rogers, Consulting Actuary at Milliman
Hayley is a Consulting Actuary who has been with Milliman since 2008. Hayley’s relevant experience includes 16 years of preparing Medicare Advantage bids, including five years certifying MA-PD bids. She also evaluates and certifies actuarial assets and liabilities as part of the annual statutory financial submissions for her Medicare clients.
She is passionate about leading research within Milliman, focusing on innovative strategies to help clients navigate new and emerging challenges. Her research on the impact of COVID-19 on the healthcare industry was recognized with the Milliman Global Health Practice Director Outstanding Service Award in 2020. Hayley continues to innovate, and is currently developing new analytic and strategic approaches to improve Medicare Star Ratings for Milliman’s clients.
Rex Wallace, CEO of Rex Wallace Consulting
Rex Wallace is the CEO of Rex Wallace Consulting (RWC), a consulting firm that helps health plans improve Quality. Rex established RWC in 2017 after spending 30 years in leadership roles with health plans, employers, and national consulting firms. His team of consultants at RWC has deep experience in the many aspects of Quality across all lines of business. They help build more meaningful engagements with all stakeholders to improve the outcomes and experiences of members.
Samantha Cordero, Chief Customer Officer at Wellth
As Chief Customer Officer, Samantha manages the design and implementation of Wellth programs and works closely with partner organizations to ensure long-term success. Her focus is on optimizing value and outcomes for Wellth's customers and members. Samantha is passionate about solving complex problems and applying innovative solutions to improve patient health.
Prior to Wellth, Samantha was responsible for IT strategic planning and deployments at Cedars-Sinai Health System. She also worked for Epic Systems where she led implementations of the electronic health record system.
Samantha holds a BA in Sociology and Anthropology from Lewis & Clark College. She lives in Southern California and spends her free time hiking, traveling, and spending time with family.
